Tuesday
Today in class we went over the work we did while Mr. Schick was out. As a class, we reviewed population pyramids. Mr. Schick explained to us that on less fortunate countries, people have more younger aged people; but they are all dying a young ages. There are many people in the early 50s to there late 60s in a lot of the more fortunate countries. This is because of the baby boom that occurred from about 1960-1970. Towards the end of class, Mr. Schick talked to us about the three stages of industrialization: pre-industrialization, industrialization, and post-industrialization. We didn't get to talk much about that in class because the class ended.
