Friday

In class on Friday, we went over the test again.  The people who were not i class on Wednesday got there tests back, and then we talked about them again.  After that, we went to the CIA website that is on Mr. Schick's website.  As a class, we discussed things that were on that website.  We talked about the population increases and decreases in countries around the world.  People showed us some of the facts that they found interesting on the website.  After we did this, Mr. Schick talked to us about the bomb drills he had to practice as a kid.  When Russia and America were enemies, they threatened to bomb America.  So, alarms were placed all throughout America; and everyone would practice sheltering in place.  Children in school would get under desks, people on the streets would go either inside or up against a wall or something sturdy.  Everyone had a place to go or something to do if they were bombed.  Now, if it were a nuclear bomb there was probably no chance of anyone surviving; but people still practiced these drills just incase.
