Class today
Today in class we talked about many different things. First, we talked about the article about getting a note too Garcia and how it was a metaphor. It is a metaphor because the it was all about getting a note to Garcia, but the it was really trying to tell readers that if someone asks you to do something, just do it; don't ask any questions or procrastinate about it. Next, we talked about voting and how little of a percentage of people actually vote. We talked about how the majority of people that do not vote are between ages 18-35. Not many people vote because they think there vote doesn't count. After that we talked about Albert Hubbard and how he died. Albert Hubbard died on ship, that sank because they took it into a territory where they were told not to go. The Germans torpedoed and bombed the ship and it sank in less than 20 minutes. Albert Hubbard and his wife wet down with the ship.
