Today in class we went over population, in all parts of the world. There are over 7 billion people in the world, right now. The population increases by over 73 million people per year. Ninety percent of the population growth takes place in the developing countries of Africa, South and East Asia, and Latin America. Your life expectancy is the average number of years to be lived buys group of people born in the same year. Even though the number of population increases 73 million, that has to make up for all the people who have died that year. Which means, so many people are having children; enough to make up for all the deaths that year and then to add to the population of the world. The crude birth is the humber of births per 1000. The crude death rate is the number of deaths per 1000 of the population. I never knew there were so many people in the world, repopulating the earth.
